96 thru 99 Polaris SLTX

Accolades:
Undeniably, one of the most reliable skis I've ever owned. WOT for 2 hours repeatedly is normal without failure on smooth or rough water for this ski. The stability of the SLTX platform is very real. Top speed for single pipe 1050 skis run around 55-59 in near stock conditions. This ski could be set up for rough or smooth water. It also pulls skiers, but the seat is a little short for 3 riders. It is also a "short" ski, most suited for riders under 5'8". The ride is similar to other flat bottomed skis. It is a little rough, but glued to the water in most conditions. We also packed this ski down for camping trips. We removed the front storage bucket, and stuffed a tent, 2 sleeping bags and mats, cloths and supplies. Out back we strapped on a cooler and saddlebags. 2 six gallon fuel cans straddled the passenger seat. The "5mph kits" available for this ski, do increase top speed in flat water, but you will see a noticeable degredation in real world performance. Use your best judgement in upgrades.A real workhorse for a midsized ski...

WHAT IF....-You could take a SLTX.  Drop in a 1200cc domestic engine.
Put on some Carbon fiber pieces. Drop in some Triple pipes. Make some custom parts.
WHAT WOULD IT DO....
